With Uber Las Vegas you have three car options to choose from. Which option you take is up to you and depends on your budget and how you want to experience your trip. Different people, different needs and different budgets, so there is a option for everyone!
1. UberX – The cheapest Uber option available in Las Vegas
Car option 1 is UberX. This car service is by far the most popular and cheapest option when you decide to use rideshare service Uber. It’s also called “the low-cost option” because you will pay the least if you compare this with all the other Uber car options.
Although UberX is the cheapest option available, you don’t need to worry about being picked-up in a old, trashy, torn down car. Uber drivers need to comply with strict vehicle requirements.
UberX requirements:
– The car is from 2001 or newer
– The car is a 4-door sedan
– The car seats 4 or more passengers
– The car has working air conditioning
– The driver has in-state car insurance
– The driver has in-state plates
– The driver has a current car registration
– The car passed the Uber vehicle inspection
2. UberXL – Great for a group of friends
Car option 2 is UberXL. This car service looks like UberX, although it has some differences. When using UberXL you can have more people in the car at once. Instead of 4 people with a regular UberX, you can have 6 people with UberXL and therefore you will be picked-up in a SUV.
The UberXL car option is more expensive then the UberX. It totally depends on the length of your trip if the UberXL option could be cheaper then the UberX option if you are all splitting the fare. Please be advised!
UberXL requirements:
– The car is from 2006 or newer
– The car is a 4-door SUV or minivan
– The car seats 6 or more passengers
– The car has working air conditioning
– The driver has in-state car insurance
– The driver has in-state plates
– The driver has a current car registration
– The car passed the Uber vehicle inspection
3. UberSelect – More comfort and more luxury
Car option 3 is UberSelect. If you want to have a special treatment from a top-notch driver while enjoying a very comfortable and luxury car then maybe UberSelect is the option for you. If you compare UberSelect with UberX and UberXL you can say UberSelect is way more high-end and exclusive. If you don’t mind to pay some extra dollars for your trip, especially in Vegas, you can try UberSelect and be driven in a Porsche Macan or Cayenne, a Cadillac CTS or a Mercedes-Benz C/G/CLS Class.
UberSelect requirements:
– The car is from 2012 or newer
– The car is a 4-door luxury sedan
– The car seats 4 or more passengers
– The car has working air conditioning
– The car has leather interior
– The driver has in-state car insurance
– The driver has in-instate plates
– The driver has a current car registration
– The car passed the Uber vehicle inspection
